The association " Amici di Elia Onlus " was founded in 2015 by the family of little Elia.
Elia was born on February 18, 2008 and after a complication during childbirth he was left with "severe hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy", a brain injury that led to a severe delay in his motor and cognitive neuro development.
From the beginning the family did everything possible to improve Elia’s quality of life and thanks to the generosity of the community he was able to avail of different therapies both in Italy and abroad.
And thanks to these therapies, he has gradually achieved small but great achievements.
From this journey, both wonderful and very challenging, the association was founded with the intention of assisting disability throughout life by supporting therapeutic rehabilitation programs for disabled children through research funds and charity donations.
The mission of the association - which reflects our own mission of inclusiveness as well as our founding values - is to build a truly inclusive society with equal opportunities, where people with disabilities are may have access to self-determination in the different areas of their lives, giving them the possibility to choose, act, communicate, enjoy, dream or live their life to the full, because to live and not just survive is their right.
We support the association through 5x1000.

How does WAMI operate?
First, it identifies communities without access to water and then builds an aqueduct on site.
Each family involved has a tap in their home, connected to the water supply, which provides more than 1 million litres of drinking water. Less than 10,000 products are needed to finance the tap.
So with a single can, or pet, you donate 100 liters of drinking water to a family. And you can see it with your own eyes!
On the packaging, there is a unique code that allows you to know the family you are donating water to.
The goal is to bring clean water to as many people as possible around the world, but also to do so with a positive environmental impact.
That’s why WAMI uses sustainable packs: 100% PET, aluminium, returnable glass. It also contributes to important SDGs of the UN 2030 Agenda and to planting in Italy. Choosing WAMI for our guests, we offer a minimal mineralized water from the Maritime Alps from the Rocciaviva Spring at 1,300 meters.
Extraordinary digestible water with a sodium content among the lowest in Italy, pure and beneficial for the body. A simple gesture, like drinking a glass of water, turns into a noble mission with high social impact and global sustainability.
